Worlds of Wonder

In 1990, a secretary for Amnesty International was traveling from Manchester to London, when her train was delayed.  Thus unoccupied, she began to imagine a magical world that existed beside our own.  Seven years later, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone was published.  Ten years after that, and the epic, fantastical tale was complete.  An entire generation of readers have been effected by the Harry Potter Series, much as earlier readers had been effected by The Lord of the Rings, and the Chronicles of Narnia.

Thank you, J. K. Rowling, for the magic.
