1) You can read a book in full sunlight.
2) A book never needs to be plugged in.
3) If you drop a book down the stairs, it's still readable.
4) An E-reader lacks the multi-sensory experience of a book.
5) It's easier to have a book Autographed by the author.
6) A broken book can usually be fixed with Scotch Tape.
7) A 20-year-old book will work just as well as a new one.
8) Many books are still made in America.
9) Books don't contain toxic components.
10) A book can be bought with the change in your couch.

A more beautiful Friday would be too much to ask, in late January. There may yet be much winter left in this frigid land, but rejoice in this respite we have been granted. Come, browse, read a book!

We're over the hump, people! It's Thursday, and the weekend is just around the corner. Are you prepared for the weekend? Groceries? Entertainment plans? Something to read? I'm the wrong person to ask about entertainment planning, but we've got your reading covered, and Hornbachers is conveniently located near us. Two out of three isn't bad.

A bright and shiny Monday morning to you all! If you have a long week ahead of you, don't despair. Just schedule yourself little breaks every now and again. It doesn't have to be lots of time, 10 minutes can do wonders. Pick up a book and immerse yourself in a world far away from the daily grind.

On a day like this, it's important to remember to laugh. Who's your favorite humorist? Jon Stewart, Tina Fey, Garrison Keillor? Which comic strips bash your funnybone? Dilbert, Doonesbury, Calvin and Hobbes? Whatever your tastes, we've got a laugh in store for you. And, really, look outside and tell me you couldn't use a chuckle today.

Got company coming over for the holidays? What's on your coffee table? Kleenex box? Coasters? Old magazines? Empty soda cans and a pizza box? What does your coffee table say about you?

Sharpen up that image with a snazzy new coffee table book. Bodyworks, The World of Art, The Dictionary of Imaginary Places, the ESPN College Basketball Encyclopedia, and more. Whatever your interests or tastes, there's a coffee table book to showcase and display something of yourself.
